Heavy rearfoot strike

    6 y/o male dx autism level 1
    tall solid (not fat) boy ~38kg (father, premature neurological issues genu valgum, never dx but ? on spectrum is 6'6'' 120kg, fighting weight was 108kg)
    has sickening barefoot on concrete rearfoot contact, sound of which makes me nauseous
    has had physio and ot as part of ndis service
    this a typical presentation?, any interventions indicated as has my alleles
    any comments appreciated, thanks, mark

    perhaps try gait retraining to "tread lightly"; perhaps on a treadmill - make it a game. ASD makes it challenging.
