Rosalind - what do you mean by "sheilds"? Full size silicone pads? Met dome? etc?
    Try Algeos

    Hi Rosalind

most of the major pod supplies do silipos or their own version of it.

Canonbury , Timesco, DLT all have the full range.

You should find something there to suit you need

    Hope that helps

    cheers
    Derek;)

Hi to all who replied. I have attached a PDF copy of a metatarsal shield that I saw on an American website. I have not been able to find this in the UK anywhere. It is a silicon pad that slips over the 5th digit and is very help for a tailor's bunion. If you know anywhere in the UK that sells them (Algeos do not), I would be most grateful as to have anything shipped from abroad is expensive. Many thanks.

    Hi again

I would have thought a length of silipos mesh tube cut accordingly would have done the job ??

    Cheers

Hi SS, you are a star. I will order these straight away from Algeos (first time I checked I searched for Metarsal shields, that is how I missed it).
    Many many thanks.

Thanks for that Bruce. I have bought some met shields from Algeos but I will have a look at the talarmade site as it looks interesting.

Hi Ji, thanks very much for this info. I will certainly see what they have to offer. I have always been very impressed with Australian products, Flexitol, etc, so I will look to see what they have. I have managed to find the metatarsal shields I was after so I am o.k. with that item anyway.

    Best wishes.
