I'm aware that putting this question in the UK section mightn't be the best place! But thought you guys might know.

I have an osteopath friend working in Dublin who needs a biomech Podiatrist for one of her patients. Apparently this patient was issued with insoles by someone in a sports store (who may or may not have been a Podiatrist) and has since had significant back and knee pain.

My friend is asking me how to find a Pod in Ireland. Is there an HPC equivalent or a Society equivalent? Or does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the Society has members in Ireland.

Anyone want to confirm (or not)?

Yes, the SCP has members in both Northern Ireland and Eire.

The 2010/2011 Directory of Members lists 2 pages of Podiatrists in Dublin. I would check their website for the current information.

Hi. No problem. Go to the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists web site, 'find a practitioner', type in the name of a town or postcode and a list will appear. Job done!

    All the best
