I've heard that there is a growing demand for podiatrists in Singapore. What is the pay that starting grads can expect? And pay of more senior podiatrists in public sector vs private practice?

Also, from what I understand, podiatric surgeons cannot practice surgery in Singapore. Will this change any time soon?

    thanks!

    Hello there,
The salary of Podiatrists in Singapore varies considerably depending on experience, which hospital you work and whether it's the public or private sector. Salary scales are not advertised - the salary is negotiated with HR. However they tend to be more than the UK as the cost of living in Singapore is higher.
Podiatric surgeons can not practice in Singapore. Podiatry is currently a non-registered profession - when this changes (hopefully in the next few years) perhaps Podiatric Surgery will be recognised.
    Hope this helps,
    Sophie
