Hi I'm Judy and have just started up my foot health business in Oxfordshire. New to Podiatry Arena and hoping to make contacts and network with other FHPs.

    Hi Judy
I’m a new FHP too and also looking to connect with other FHPs. I’m in the Bath area, only just setting up. Hope you are getting on ok, it is taking some time to get clients so I must organise some more advertising.

Hi. Thanks for your response. I’ve only been going since February and have also found things pretty slow. Still also working full time at the moment and fitting clients in on days off/weekends etc, so little time for promotion. Thought things would take off after I put my flyers and business cards around, so need to up may game with advertising too.
Really enjoying the job though. Just went to Medifoot Annual Conference in Reading. Really good. Were you there?

Hi there, I am Romey in Leeds. Also newly qualified. Finding it really difficult to find new patients too. Nice to meet you! I think SB college is churning us out without any thought as to how many of us there are out there!

Nice to meet you too Romey. Yes. I did do my research for this area and there aren’t that many doing home visits. It’s just a matter of getting the ward out there I think. I have approached care agencies and nursing homes, as well leaflet dropping everywhere. Had a bit of luck with a new retirement complex wanting me to do a regular clinic there, which should be good once they are full.
