    This looks like and interesting paper - I've down loaded it for reading tonight - I like the consideration of Duty Factor ie how long your in stance is compared to how long your in swing and the relationship between the two when interpreted in terms of efficiency. Its often said that the shorter the stance phase in running gait then the more efficient the progression.

    This is a really important paper IMO - had to read it a few times to draw out the useful data but if the conclusions are reliable then this would give us a useful parameter of kinematics to use as a reliable measure of running efficiency - something that has been quite elusive in the past.
