    "Off-loading adherence is associated with the amount of DFU healing that occurs, while postural instability is a powerful predictor of non-adherence."

    Aloha,
    It would be interesting to see the compliance rates when compared to the weight of the off loading device. Would a 5 pound cam boot have lower compliance rate than a 1 pound carbon fiber AFO with a rocker spring lever?

    Folks want their wounds healed but the medical treatments and modalities we fit and dispense them are sometimes too "big" to swallow. Kind of like dispensing antibiotics the size of basketballs.

    We can and should do more.
