BPC 157 Healing for torn tendons

    Hi,

    I would like to engage the podiatrist community regarding the potential for BPC-157 to heal torn tendons such as the plantar fascia or achilles tendon. In this particular instance I'll be referring to the plantar fascia.

    To summarise, BPC 157 is a healing peptide that has become popular in the athletic and body building communities due to consistently positive experiences regarding the effective healing of injuries, especially those related to tendon and joint problems. I've included some links below but I encourage you to do your own reading as well.

    Reports suggest BPC is most effective when locally injected near the site of injury. After suffering from a torn planter fascia (not caused by heal spur) for 3 years, I have now reached the point where physiotherapy and standard treatments are no longer effective, the only other option is PRP, however after doing a lot of research online BPC looks like a more viable alternative. It is not an undertaking I have considered lightly, I take this very seriously and have been holding off for many months while doing research and weighing up the alternatives. I have managed to find a peptide company that does not sell to the public, and will provide me with pharmaceutical grade BPC.

    I understand that people on this forum may not be used to this kind of under the radar research and experimentation, however I'm excited to hear your knowledgable opinions and would appreciate constructive feedback.

    The final point I have arrived at is administration of the BPC. I have performed IM and SubQ injections before and know the precautions required, but I find the anatomy of the foot more challenging. I do not want to inject into the fascia directly, and was hoping there would be just enough subcutaneous fat somewhere in the foot where I could inject the BPC - the dosage will only be 2-300 micrograms. This is where I'm seeking you're help, advice, suggestions, and opinions regarding administration options.

    Hi,

    I would appreciate any advice regarding precautions for subcutaneous injection (for compounds intended for subcutaneous absorption such as BPC) into the fat pads of the foot.

    The only info I've found is regarding successful fat pad injections to treat atrophy with silicon/botox, and then some references to corticosteroids causing atrophy of the fat pad - so somewhat conflicting my confidence. I've found no reference for using fat pads as an avenue for subcutaneous delivery of peptides/drugs.

    If I go ahead with the experiment, I'll document the process and results for informational purposes, while trying to remain as objective as possible.

    Hello Prof. ,

    I am interested in your results after using PBC 157 on yourself , my brother have plantar fascia and I am thinking of trying to heal it on him with this peptide, although I am not sure how it will his body react on it and does it have any strange side effects or post effects after treatment. I see that is been more than year since you have decided to use this alternative treatment and please if give me some feedback , it will be in great help.
