    Aloha,
    If the conclusion of this good research states,
    "It is concluded that a maximal cushioning running shoe did not influence running economy when compared to a
    control shoe (neutral cushioning running shoe)"
    then how can we justify calling them maximal?

    Maximalism must provide testable and significant improvements in energy efficiency, stability, physical protection and greenability.
    It is the inverse of minimalism.
