Full time Podiatrist Required

Encompass Podiatry is seeking a full time Podiatrist for its clinic in Boyne Island, QLD. While a full time position is available, candidates who seek part time work would be considered.

Our locally owned and operated clinic opened at the beginning of 2018 and is quickly building a solid patient base. We are looking to employ another Podiatrist to continue to build our capacity to provide Podiatry services to the local community and to provide maternity cover. The successful candidate will be willing to start between November 2018-January 2019.

We are preferably looking for someone with experience, with the ability to work within a team environment but also autonomously. Graduates are welcome to apply and would be gradually transitioned into their case load with ongoing mentoring and support. We are offering remuneration including relocation assistance and allowances for continuing education. The $60-79K package offered will be tailored to the applicants experience and requirements. Regular in-house CPD and mentoring is available.

Location:
The twin towns of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands are beautiful coastal towns in Central Queensland, a 20-minute drive south of Gladstone or approximately 6 hours north of Brisbane. The area offers plenty of sporting and outdoor recreation opportunities. Multiple daily flights service the Gladstone airport to/from Brisbane.

The Clinic:
We offer a full scope of Podiatry services including paediatric assessments, sports injuries/biomechanics and gait assessments, off-the shelf and custom orthotics (using 3D laser scanning technology), diabetes assessments, shoe assessments and prescription, skin and nail care and vascular assessments. As a result of our location (and a high proportion of young families in the area) and a large sporting community, we see a larger volume of paediatric patients.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday and every second Saturday. We are happy to work with the successful applicant to allow flexibility in their roster and encourage a good work-life balance. A biomechanics-focused external clinic is conducted once per week in Gladstone where we work closely with local Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Personal Trainers, to provide excellent care within a multidisciplinary setting. Our clinic is supported by an experienced administration team with a range of footwear stocked in store.

The position would ideally suit someone looking to relocate to the area and enjoy all the benefits of the local region. Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be registered with AHPRA.
