2012 Pedorthic Association of Canada Symposium:Footcare and Orthotics

    Register for the 2012 Pedorthic Association of Canada (PAC) Symposium: A Conference on Footcare and Orthotics, in Whistler, BC, April 20 and 21, 2012 and extend your trip to discover one of Canada’s top destinations.

    Matthew Nurse, PhD – SPORT RESEARCH INFLUENCES ON ATHLETIC FOOTWEAR DESIGN

    Matthew Nurse has been at Nike for the last 9 years, where he is currently the Director of the Nike Sport Research Lab. As an integral part of the Advanced Innovation team at Nike, the NSRL is a multidisciplinary scientific research group focusing on biomechanics, human physiology, and sensory perception. Their mission is to drive performance innovation through knowledge and insights gained from a scientific understanding of athletes and athletic performance.

    David Armstrong, DPM, MD, PhD – THE DIABETIC FOOT: THE GLOBAL STATE OF PLAY

    Dr. Armstrong is a Professor of Surgery (with Tenure) at the University of Arizona. He also holds a Masters of Science in Tissue Repair and Would Healing from the University of Wales College of medicine and a PhD from the University of Manchester College of Medicine, where he was appointed Visiting Professor of Medicine. He also co-founded the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA).
