ACT Health is committed to providing high quality health services to the ACT population and it is keen to attract enthusiastic, responsible, committed and appropriately qualified health professionals to work in the ACT public health system. An ACT Health Undergraduate Podiatry Scholarship will be awarded to a final year Podiatry student to a maximum value of $8,000. • Undertake continuing professional development activities.
    • Participate in quality improvement or research projects.
    • Experience the benefits of public sector employment including competitive salary, paid leave, and professional development opportunities.

    LIVING IN THE ACT
Canberra offers all the benefits of city living with restaurants, shopping malls, markets, cinemas, theatres, clubs, and a host of cultural events, significant national sites to visit and great sporting facilities. The natural surroundings justify its title as one of the best places in Australia for outdoor activities and the best place in Australia for cycling. It has few of the disadvantages generally associated with bigger cities with low levels of traffic, pollution and violent crime. Canberra sits right in the middle of some fantastic destinations, it’s only two hours away from the magnificent snowy mountains, and the South Coast of NSW and Sydney is just three hours away by road or one hour by plane.
