Clearly he is not an "orthopoedic surgeon" I don't know anyone that is. I do recall a number of educational institutes and NHS trusts that performed nail surgery with one person doing the anaesthetics/ assistant and another doing the surgery- why is this a big deal? As long as he audits his outcomes, has a reasonable success rate without complications and isn't killing people what's the big deal? I know a lot of people who use external labs to make their foot orthoses, secretaries to book their appointments, cleaners to scrub their clinic for them etc etc. does this really be-little them? It was clearly your intention with the statement you made to try and bring Del down, I just thought that it was a rather poor effort. Just call him a wanker and offer him out.

No it isn't. And you're both being as inflammatory as each other. Now shake hands and walk away. It's great being the third party for once. Can we bring this back to a discussion regarding SMAE training as I'm bored now. It's kind of like the fight at the school gates, lots of name calling, lots of build up and anticipation only to have one kid smack the other in the nose and it be over with one punch. Boring with very little kick ass.
