  3. Hi Craig,

I am tired of football. Do world cup for the basketball. That would have been great.
Ha ha loved your videos. The first one was hilarious. The second if I am not mistaken that is the Italian player Rossi acting!!!

    Completely sick of it!

At least there has been some Rugby to watch at the weekends, otherwise I'd have gone crazy by now.

1-1 series draw with the Aussies at least the England rugby boys can pick themselves up after a poor performance and come back next game much improved!

If I were a New Zealand'er at the moment after two incredible matches I'd be on a high. Is the manager under contract for next season?????????

  7. Graham

    Graham RIP

In the football (soccer) starved North America/Canada I can't get enough of it.

When you live in a sports world that truly believes it has world champions in sports not played in the rest of the world, it's a treat to see the best of the best play at THE WORLD football championships.

You guys are spoiled. You should celebrate this as it truly is a World Championship.

  8. I´ve watched about 10 mins live but watch a few replays here and there, but read abit on Eurosport as I feel fit, so not so sick of it but I recon two blokes who may be.....

    Fabio Capello and Raymond Domenech.

  9. I agree with Graham. All you who are so tired of World Cup Soccer need only to visit the US and see that the NBA playoffs and US Open (golf) got most of the attention over the past week....not soccer. For many of you, if you had the lack of coverage of World Cup that we do here, then you would probably complain that there is not enough soccer (football) coverage.....that's human nature....the grass is always greener on the other side of the pond.;)

    Thanks Kevin,

Luckily we have CBC here in Canada and get every game live and live stream on my Lap top. Get to see some of every game between patients.

Apart from that the Stanley Cup and NBA finals lived up to expectations. Great finals.

Well, I have watched most of the games so far (not much choice with footie mad OH) and as usual some of the refereeing has been dodgy. Have to say though am loving the rugby at the w/end and big congrats to Scotland on Sat:dizzy:

  12. Deeply depressing business if you're English.

Hands up if you think anyone found with one of those plastic vulvazella horns in a stadium should have it rammed where the sun does'nt shine.

Given the amount of beer consumed, together with the likely unhealthy diet, the thought of all the noxious gases trumpeting :D their bodily exit is scary.

to be seen at all major sporting events for the next while I would bet on.... ie get used to it...

    But Craig,

How can we be sick of the world cup. England won??? .....

But wait until we meet Germany. Then I will be sick of the world cup!!! .....

    Regards Colin.

PS. I hear Germany have been playing with the new beach-ball all through their winter league season. It has taken England two games to get used to the added length of kick!

Mind you referees and shirt pulling, half nelsons and plain kicking the opposition up in the air hasn't helped other than my whinge of course!

sick of the world cup!!!! are you mad. whats the alternative - rugby! i'd rather watch coronation street ( a poor soap opera for the lucky non UK among us). wrong shaped ball, only 80 minutes cause they cant last 90, cant see anthing thats happening since they spend most of the game cuddling each other and sticking fingers where they ought not to be.
you just couldnt give a XXXX for the football cause Cahill got sent off and your world cup went down the dunny.
USA on the other hand are a decent outfit and gave me the best laugh of the competition so far. cant believe it hasnt caught the imagination in America.
    cheers

Ah yes but the Americans are to busy going skiing,Visiting the cesspools in San Francisco you know! And X-raying feet of course now thats novel. Had a few murdered by the knife and the bullet but never shot and stabbed in the foot?

I can not imagine where they are going to stick the syringe though now that could be excruciatingly enlightening.

    Regards,

    Colin.

PS. Japan has just done a whoopsy and scored another one against Denmark. They will have to be good little Vikings and go bizurk to catch up now after that!

    Regards,

    Colin.

This is the same Italian 'player' that dived in the box against NZ and cost us a place to finish top of our group! Yes you read right, top! Oh well, undefeated at our first world Cup in 28 years. NZ has one professional team so not too bad I guess.

I go with Craig here. Bring on the rugby! Mind you, at least we had the limited over cricket last night (Pommies stuffed the antipodeans!).

By the way Twirly, from the name, I would have thought that these vulvulzelas were female rather than male apparel?

    All the best

Am guessing you are correct, they are. Female, as in 'vulva'. However male or female, I guess it takes a (put your own word here) to blow one! .

    Spoiling the game for millions.

    Much love X

    Javier,

we all know that Spain only won because Paul the Psychic octopus said they would ;)

Seriously though I can't wait until Sunday - it will be a classic. In the words of the legendary Gary Lineker: 'A final between two of the best footballing nations to have never won the World Cup'
