use of LA scandonest 3% plain in pp

Having come out of the NHS into the land of private practice can any PP let me know if you need O2 when using LA in a private practice.
Allways had access to it in the NHS clinics.
As I understand it O2 is a pom and we would have used it via medical team in clinic or by a PGD.
As the instructions for use of scandonest plain seem to suggest O2 should be available what do PP do to cover this area.

No O2 is not a requirement, probably just handy if someone has a vasovagal.

Personally i have never seen O2 in a private practice except for the hospital i work in. I have also never seen it in NHS community clinics, you must have been lucky.

I do have entonox to hand in pp. In regards of O2 being a POM, i'm not too sure this is definately the case as entonox is a medical device, which im sure O2 is also. This means you should be able to buy it wholesale or from a pharmacy.

Thanks for the advice most of the nhs clinics also had dental services I think this was the reason for the O2.
Can I ask what do you have in your private practice when doing LA apart from an assistant.
