Prof Davis currently works in the McKinly Laboratory in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware where she is researching the relationship between lower extremity structure, mechanics and injury. Prof Davis is probably best known for her research into barefoot running, which is the subject of much debate amongst podiatrists. She has been published in countless peer reviewed journals and was recently featured in Nature. She has recently accepted a position at Harvard Medical School to develop and direct a National Centre for Running beginning in January 2011.

Leading diabetologist Prof Boulton is Professor of Medicine with a special interest in diabetes and its complications at the University of Manchester, UK, and Consultant Physician at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He is currently Vice-President and Director of International Postgraduate Education for the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. Prof Boulton's DIALEX (Diabetes Lower Extremity) Research Group has been actively researching clinical aspects of diabetic foot disease over the last 20 years, and over 200 peer reviewed research articles have been published as a result of research in this group.

    Dr Edward Roddy
    MB BS, MRCP, DM, FRCP

Dr Edward Roddy is Clinical Lecturer in the Arthritis UK Primary Care Centre, Keele University and Consultant Rheumatologist, Staffordshire Rheumatology Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, UK.
