Bad toe

    so I got a new 10"kindle fire for Xmas last year and it dropped on my toe , my toe went black then went funny and over the months it broke off now it grows and breaks off it's not smooth, I went doctors she took a sample haven't heard any thing, I got to see the doctors in a few weeks over my blood pressure, so I ask her again then,
    She said if it's fungi it just won't grow the way it should , so my question is what do you people do if your toe name grows funny it looks horrible
