CALLING ON PODIATRISTS FROM THE UK AND IRELAND TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA

    We are constantly scanning the globe for enthusiastic new graduate or experienced Podiatrists join our friendly team at HealthStrong. We have opportunities in various locations across beautiful, warm, plentiful, sunny Australia join our expanding team. You will be working within our national company, HealthStrong, which specialises in the delivery of allied health services within Residential Aged Care.

    You will enjoy working in modern residential aged care facilities alongside other physiotherapists and health care practitioners.


    This position will see the successful applicant:

    • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
    • Developing innovative treatment plans
    • Providing hands on podiatry techniques to reduce pain and to maintain resident’s quality of life and functional abilities
    • Providing manual handling education to staff


    The successful applicant will have:

    • A degree in Podiatry from a university in the UK or Ireland.
    • The commitment to undertake and apply for registration in Australia (this can take up to 6 months but we do have the no-how of how to go about this and can provide you with assistance)
    • Ability to commit to 2-3 years working with HealthStrong (there will be opportunities to move to different locations within Australia during this time)
    • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
    • Attention to detail and committed to success
    • Desire to work in Geriatric rehabilitation

    You will be rewarded with:

    Thanks for your enquiry.

    Yes it is preferred if you have a licence and your own transport as our roles are generally mobile - servicing several different aged care facilities within the region in which you are based.
