I'm 32 and live in Scotland. I'm currently doing Int 2 Biology and Chemistry, and starting in August, I'll be doing Higher Human Biology. I'm also shadowing two podiatrists, one private and one NHS, with a view to applying to do podiatry at GCU, starting September 2016.

This is a subject I find fascinating and thus far, I've really enjoyed all aspects of the clinical work I've seen. Ultimately, I'm aware that because of my age, I need to be in a career that will allow me to work overseas - my Husbands job has opportunities to work abroad and we could potentially move to the USA, Canada, Aus or NZ.

I joined this place I guess to get a fee for what people who're already podiatrists or podiatric surgeons think of their jobs. Any opinions, feedback, or advice are more than welcome if anyone cane offer any :)

Hi Jenfs, thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. I notice you have been lurking since 2011, :) great that you have so many options ahead. Maybe we will see you here in Aus!
it is a bit cool down here, yesterday hovered between 6-8 degrees in Melbourne.
    Cheers
