Child Top of Foot Pain

    I have had my 3 yr old nephew wake up several times in the past few months crying... Always thinking its a belly ache or bad dream.. In trying to comfort him I rub his feet but he only lets me rub the top. Last night I got him to tell me what hurt and he touched the top of his foot. He was crying and miserable for 10 minutes before I asked him. As usual, I was thinking it was gas or something.
