There was an article saying that pronation is not a dirty word. Well put more accurately, a small amount of pronation is needed, but hyperpronation is not good.

At the Bournemouth conference, there was a lecture "Selling is Not a dirty word" or put another way, "profit is not a dirty word"

Profit is not a dirty word, but I can think of a dirty phrase, "gone bankrupt"

I was saying to someone about the business model that cinemas use. On what they sell the actual tickets for, they can't make a living on. They make a living on the profit of the food (popcorn/sweets etc). During the BBC1 programme "Your Money Their Tricks" Nicky Campbell was saying about the huge profit markup that cinemas make on popcorn. It is scandalous. And we worry that we are ripping people off.

Profit is not a dirty word. it means jobs. But companies that go under, can't generate enough profit to make ends meet!

  2. I bet that sends her over the edge every time....but you can always offer a bit of variety and just shout "bust" repeatedly - keeping in time with whatever bits are slapping together. Do come back and tell us how you get on.

  3. Running a podiatric practice is an expensive process. As such I don't have any problems charging for my expert services to pay the costs of my practice, pay my employees, pay my malpractice premium, etc, etc and pay myself every month.

Why should we give away our services for no profit? No other medical professional, medical clinic, surgery center or hospital does gives away their services for no profit...why should podiatrists feel guilty about it? I surely don't...I work hard for it!!
