I had a pt who had a large heel ulcer with an exposed calcaneus for +18 months without any progress and with MRSA. He then had a nurse come and bathe it every 3 days with colloidal silver and his flesh began epithelialising within a month.
It would be realy interesting to see a study on its use in wound treatment as right now I haven't been able to find any literature on it and am very tentative about using treatments without scientifc evidence to back up what i'm doing.
