Four men sat dawn to play, They played all night till break of day. They played for gold and not for fun, With separate scores for everyone. When they had come to square accounts, They all had made quite large amounts. Can you the paradox explain, If no one lost, how all could gain?

    5.
Suppose you want to cook an egg for exactly 3 minutes. You have only a 5 minute hourglass timer and a 2 minute hourglass timer. Using these 2 timers, how can you boil the egg for exactly 3 minutes?

With the numbers 123456789, make them add up to 100. They must stay in the same order. You can use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Remember, they have to stay in the same order !!!

    Ok then here goes nothing!

Haven't worked them all out, but heres my thoughts for some (well 2) of the answers

    No2 TON

No5 Start both timers together, when the 2 minute one runs out start cooking the egg. By the time the 5 minute timer runs out the egg will have cooked for exactly three mins.

  4. Nicely done. For two correct answers You win a small attagirl

    :cool:attagirl:cool:

And no donna its quite different. That would be irresponsible. Remember Robeer makes you more fertile. I could go around doing that to innocent bystanders without warning them! I might get sued for childcare costs!:p

However, drink Robeer. Its great. :drinks

Dontcha just love these new smilies?

No brothers means they must be sisters. Not twins... does this discount triplets or quadruplets?

    That's all I've got

The triplets must be all girls - it says no brothers.
