    Hi guys,

In your opinion, do you think the dose of salicylic acid for the treatment of verrucae is safe during pregnancy?

Currently I'm getting this patient to apply Duofilm (extra strength) 6 days on 1 day off covered with silver duct tape. I'm planning to keep her on this treatment until the lesion is gone (plus coming back to me every 2 months for review and debridement).

She plans to get pregnant. I thought the dose maybe too small to warrant a stop to the treatment? but just want to be safe by checking with everyone.

    Thanks for your input.

    Mike
