Flawed Concepts

    The only flawed concept is that the writer of that article has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

    That have chosen to critique a type of foot orthoses and methodology of foot orthoses that I do not know of anyone who does them that way.

    It a well known technique used in debating, called the straw man argument, in which you characterize the position of the person you are arguing against as something that its not, then look good to everyone by critiquing that characterization. You never actually refute the true position of your opponent ... that is exactly what they have done. They have characterized foot orthoses as being something that they are not, then criticize that.

    They are easy to make fools of by looking at what and how they present what they do. We have already had several threads on the flawed concepts from the Robert Charles Clinic. You will also notice that they present no scientific evidence for what they are claiming, yet there is plenty of science to support what they are pretending that are criticizing!

    Every single outcome study that has looked at foot orthotics done the way they are criticizing has shown that they actually work. Not one study has shown that foot orthotic done the way they do them work!
