    Colleagues,

With the unfortunate result of the Mark Russell case, do you think that chiropodists/podiatrists should de-register from the HCPC in their droves?

Next year, we have to renew our registrations, do you think we need to send a clear message to the government?!

    Good idea:wacko:
You go first and the rest of us will think about it !
Do you really imagine the government would care?
If anyone in this profession has the wherewithal to make an impact it was Mark and he has failed in his quest through apparent disinterest and would now appear to be in an untenable position professionally . I sincerely hope he will swallow hard and accept it is time to finish his fight, cut his losses and go forward looking after his own interests rather than everyone else's .
    Cheers
    D;)

  3. I'm not dead yet, Derek. In one way, it was a disappointment yesterday, but in another, it was a very good result. You'll understand soon enough! As for mass resignations - the profession would have too realise what its potential actually is and be prepared to make the commitment. That's fine and dandy for members of Podiatry Arena who still have some interest in furthering their profession - but the other 95%?? One day the profession may realise the strength in numbers game - until then...
