Encompass Podiatry is seeking a full time Podiatrist for its clinic in Boyne Island, QLD.
Our locally owned and operated clinic opened at the beginning of this year and is quickly building a solid patient base. For this reason, we are looking to employ a second Podiatrist to continue to build our capacity to provide Podiatry services to the local community. The successful candidate will be willing to start between October 2018-January 2019.

The twin towns of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands are coastal towns in Central Queensland, a 20-minute drive south of Gladstone or approximately 6 hours north of Brisbane. Multiple daily flights are available from the Gladstone and Rockhampton airports to Brisbane and Mackay. The area offers plenty of sporting and outdoor recreation opportunities and has easy access to the Great Barrier Reef.

We offer a full scope of Podiatry services including sports injuries, children’s foot assessments, biomechanics and gait assessments, off-the shelf and custom orthotics (using 3D laser scanning technology), diabetes assessments, shoe assessments and prescription, skin and nail care and vascular assessments.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday and every second Saturday. We are happy to work with the successful applicant to allow flexibility in their roster and encourage a good work-life balance. A biomechanics-focused external clinic is conducted twice per week in Gladstone where we work closely with local Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Personal Trainers, to provide excellent care within a multidisciplinary setting. Our clinic is supported by an experienced administration team with a range of footwear stocked in store.

The position would ideally suit someone looking to relocate to the area and enjoy all the benefits of the local region. We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality, patient focused treatment and expect members of our team to strive to provide the best level of care possible and to continue to develop their skills as clinicians.

We are preferably looking for someone with experience, with the ability to work within a team environment but also autonomously. We are offering competitive remuneration, including relocation assistance and allowances for continuing education. The $70-75K package offered will be tailored to the applicants experience and requirements. Regular in-house and external CPD with local allied health professionals and mentoring is available.
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be registered with AHPRA.
