Hi. I'm in the process of moving to OZ and am just looking to make possible contacts for jobs in Queensland. I have 1 years post grad experience and bring 6 years pre grad experience working in the sports industry. Ultimately although biomechanics is my most comfortable area (although everyday I'm learning!) I am really looking to expand my expertise in high risk and nail surgery. Multi disciplinary working and learning from others is very important to me.
If a anybody out there has such a perfect position coming up in the not so distant future please drop me a line.

    Thanks Australia :drinks

    Aengus.

    Hi Aengus

Assuming you're the same Aengus I met this year, all the best with the move. Do it while young and you can.

Hey Ian. Cheers mate. Hope the courses are going well. It's been invaluable. Soft tissue next although finding the funds in the midst of moving is a whole different story! :dizzy:

Be great to see you before you moved to a climate slightly different to Glasgow:D.

I'll send you the soft tissue course dates if you want.

    Good morning Ian,

I specialise in recruiting Podiatrists in Australia and am currently recruiting to a small town in Queensland called Rockhampton.

The clinic is relatively small and you would be the third Podiatrist to join the team. I have recently placed a new graduate from New Zealand in to the role and am looking for the final person in the team.

The service is called CQ Foot Clinic please feel free to google the service and have a look at the clinic. They do some bio mechanics but it would not be the main focus of the caseload, you would however have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive team with a great manager and work with a diverse range of conditions.

The salary is $65k + super and they need someone in the next couple of months.

Unfortunately he is not set up to sponsor, what visa are you palnning to come over to Australia on? Are you taking the skilled migrant visa option rather than searching for sponsorship? If so i would be happy to discuss this further with you.

I also have an aged care, nursing home, clinic based role in Sydney available.

And vacancies in Kalgoorlie WA, Echuca VIC and Mildura VIC.

    My direct email is paul.s.ridley@reedglobal.com

I look forward to your reply

    Kindest regards,

    Paul Ridley

    Hello Aengus

Medacs Healthcare is seeking Podiatrists at the present time and we have sponsorhip visas available with immigration through an accredited labour agreement. We can offer a range of opportunities around Australia including QLD. Most of our roles are private practice. We offer weekly pay, full insurance for work injury and professional indemnity to $20M AUD. We pay 4 weeks full holiday pay plus payment for all public holidays as well as pension fund payments. For Podiatrists that have AHPRA registration and are ready to come, we can turn visas around in a matter of weeks subject to sourcing for you the right role that works, there are no age limits and we can sponsor you for up to 4 years. Our offices in the UK can also assist you with any document collation and preparation that might be needed on that side prior to departure. If you want to explore further, please don't hesitate to contact our office on 61 2 4967 2060 (Sydney time) or you can email me at brian@medacs.com.au and I can discuss directly with you in confidence.

  7. Hi Aengus and other people in a similar position,

I just thought I would mention that our business, HealthStrong, is happy to consider sponsorship overseas trained podiatrists who are already AHPRA registered or who are in the process of gaining registration.

We are actually looking for a Podiatrist to start immediately in Brisbane. This can be either on a short term contract - up to 6 months (which would be suitable for someone on a 457 Visa) or a permanent role for those who are looking to be sponsored.

As we are a highly dynamic national business we do have some openings in areas other than Brisbane so for more information please visit the careers section of our website or contact me directly.

You will be speaking directly to us, the employer (not an agency).

I look forward to hearing from suitable applicants!

Please email your resume through to angelab@healthstrong.com.au, and I will give you a call if you could please specify a suitable time (taking into consideration time differences of course).

You might also wish to take a look at our website - www.healthstrong.com.au
