Experiencing shooting pains in foot/toe/calf sudden and acute..

    These are really painful and sudden, and I have felt these twice now. (in different weeks) First, I found my left big toe nail had slowly thickened over time,
    and I started applying toe nail fugal ointments to cure. It started to look better, and easier to trim, though not totally. Then I started getting these very painful and sudden jolts in my leg and foot, and it happening suddenly.
    It seemed to pass, until three nights ago, I thought I had stepped on a thorn from picking berries...
