    Hi all,
I am very new to this "Arena" so hopefully I am posting this...thread.....? correctly.

I currently practice Chiropody in the Toronto, ON area and have a background in Kinesiology. My interests...as my name suggests are in sports medicine and biomechanics. I wondered if anyone is familiar with current: courses, seminars or training opportunities in the Toronto area where I could learn more about foot/ankle/knee mobilisations and manipulations.

I have watched all of Ted Jedynaks "demo's" on youtube, they are great but I need some hands on training!!

Any feedback or resources would be greatly appreciated.

I hope I have posted this in the right forum... :)

    Cheers
    Lisa

I did foot mobilisation training with Dr Paul Conneely and Shane Toohey.
They are from Australia and the training was in the United Kingdom.
You might be pushed to find better training.
If you Google musmed you will likley find Paul's website with training details.

This is my own subjective opinion

    Ken.

  3. Hi Lisa, I know that Ted is going to be over in the UK in April - May doing some courses of various levels - If you click on HERE, you will go to his members page and you can send him a private message.

But if you don´t want to fly why not find an osteo and manual physio in your area to show you some of the methods, might save some time and money. If not, I´m sure Ted will be able to help you out.

    Lisa,

I will be speaking in Ottawa on November 12-13, 2010 at the Canadian Podiatry meeting. My Saturday topic will be Manipulations of the Foot and Ankle. Not sure how much hands on time there will be, but you should at least get a chance to see this live and understand the principles behind these techniques.
