Hello you all, I study Podiatry at Universidad de M?laga (Spain) and I would like you to help me about which are the valid footprint measures and angles that you really trust based on your clinical experience and supported by scientific evidence.

I am asking this because the Arch Index (AI) seems to be quite realiable in all aspects in most of the studies. Nevertheless, the Chippaux-Smirak index and the Staheli index are constantly called into question by many studies even though they have a good inter- and intratester reliability.
I would appreciate that these indexes have a good inter and intra tester reliabilty plus a strong relationship to the main static measures of the foot (navicular height, foot joints position etc.)

I am deeply grateful to you for spending your time in this.
    Greetings.
    Ra?l

  3. Does anyone still consider the measuring of an arch to be important ?
