    It's interesting that aesthetics and comfort are the top priorities for older women in choosing footwear, while safety doesn't seem to be a major consideration. This highlights a challenge for healthcare providers: promoting safe footwear that still appeals aesthetically. Tailoring education and product options to align with these preferences could encourage better choices that reduce fall risk without compromising style and comfort.

    I'm just watching my male next door neighbour mow his lawn wearing thongs (flip Flops). He looks mid thirties to me. Sometimes age and sex have little to do with common sense.
