I could, but the workshop took place last week! It was sponsored by Covidien, who are a global healthcare products company (see their website here for any workshops in your area).

It was an excellent morning. Guest speaker was Valerie Edwards-Jones, the microbiologist from Embarrassing Bodies, who co-presented case studies on antimicrobial dressings impregnated with polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) for chronic diabetic wounds and hyper-granulating wounds.

One interesting point that Valerie raised was, that whilst silver dressings are currently under scrutiny (because the protein non-specific silver ions migrate into the wound bed and can exert toxic effects on keratinocytes and fibroblasts, thus delay healing), the PHMB dressing exercises its microbiocidal activity in the foam dressing itself by drawing up exudate, thereby producing a barrier to external pathogens in addition to not having a detrimental effect on those cells required for healing.
