    Hi everybody,

My name is Bijan Najafi and I am biomechanics and Associate professor with Dr William Scholl’s Podiatric Medicine. In past, my research was mainly focused on outcome evaluation, fall prevention, bio instrumentation, and orthopedic research. I joined the Scholl College on 2008 and since then my research focus was podiatry medicine. I am sure together we can accomplish many original researches and assist podiatrists to promote the quality of patient care together with improving the visibility of podiatry research. I deeply appreciate if you could share your thought with me about the different area of podiatry medicine that to your opinion is required further research. We have a summer research program supported by NIH and you are inviting to contribute to this program by defining joint research project. In past we were very successful with this summer research program and the research of our students has been published in top tired relevant peer reviewed journals. It worth to mention that the fruit of last summer research program was so far two NSF awards, 3rd place prize from Midwest Medical student award, several abstracts and several publications under review. The previous year, our students received several awards and published in top tired journals including Gait&Posture, JAPMA, and Diabetes Science & Technology. I hope with your collaboration we can improve the productivity of our research program in further. Thanks in advance for your support

    With my best regards,

    Bijan Najafi
