    Hello all.

I have a question for the more educated than me here.
4 weeks ago I performed a simple lateral sided PNA on a 45 year old male with no medical issues .

    Medication

    Avapro 150 SID
    Nexium 40 SID

A month later his big toe is still completely numb.

I am at a loss to explain to him why this is .

I used 5 ml 2% xylocaine into the proximal area of the great toe lateral and medial.

I look forward to hearing from you
