I'm 7 months post surgery for hammertoe and bunion repair. The toe with the pin in it is still twice the size of my same toe on my other foot! It doesn't "fit" well between my big toe and 3rd toe due to the size of it. Also the repaired toe doesn't bend at all. Doc had me tape it to the 3rd toe after initially having me tape it to both the big toe and the 3rd toe. No Physical Therapy was recommended post surgery. Is this swelling ever going away? Is total "fusion" of the repaired toe normal?...
