Hi, my name is Leanne. Just about to start my 3rd and final year of Podiatry(panic and excitement) and thought it was about time I said hello to the Podiatry community.
I have spent my entire working life within the care sector, whilst working in a rehabilitation unit for post operative hip/knee replacements I found a fascination with the mechanics of the leg and after some research found Podiatry to be of great interest, so despite my late start I feel I have really found my place in the health professional environment.
Upon qualification I hope to spend some time practicing in Australia or New Zealand to see how and if practice differs from ours. So if you have 5 minutes please say hello. x..

Hi Leanne thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself so well. Congrats. There is not time like the present to start doing something that you enjoy. Podiatry is a great field that can allow you to work and travel.
You will find that there are many threads on relocating and travelling and working. If you search the threads in Aus and NZ and follow these you will find this is a frequent topic. These may get you strated.
Enjoy the excitement and the panic, it is a great thing to look back on in the future.
good luck with your exams, future in Podiatry and travels.

    Cheers
