and I have been a podiatrist for 35 years. I work with Ayrshire and Arran Health Board mainly doing nail surgery and electro-surgery.I am trying to find out all I can about the use of sodium hydroxide as an alternative to phenol and would be delighted to hear from anyone who uses it. Thanks, in anticipation, Lesley.

    Hi Lesley,

    :welcome: to Pod' Arena :D

If you use the 'search' tool on the tool bar across the top of the home page you will find a few discussions RE: electrosurgery & also Nail Surgery using different techniques.

One thread started by DAVOhorn in 2005 may be of interest.

May be worth adding your question in the main forum too. :empathy:

    Many regards :drinks

Hi, thanks for the added geography lesson.
You are one up on me. I have never used colour before!
No doubt you have started a new trend.
If it stays green I might have to change glasses though as I can hardly see it.
Just ask away if you need help navigating.
    Cheers
