    Hi!
I'm a 2nd year podiatry student at newcastle uni in australia. I've been really enjoying my course and hope to go into the public system when i graduate. I am also interested in any aid initiatives which can be undertaken by podiatrists, and would love any information i could gather on these.

    talk to you all soon,
    Jaimee

    Jaimee,

    Hello & :welcome:

What sort of 'aid initiatives' do you mean?

    Disability aids?
    A.I.D.S initiatives?
    3rd world aid?

May just be me being dense. I could be the only one who doesn't know exactly which one (wouldn't be the 1st time either!)

There are many student members of the Arena. Have a browse of the members map & why not add yourself too.

    :D

    Many regards,

    Hi Jaimee:welcome::confused:
a little detail info on what you are looking for will come up with more responses.
The oxfam walk is always one way you can vilunteer if that is the sort of Aid you are looking at. Consider becoming a student member of your state assoc, newsletters will often advertise for aid required.
If I am heading in the wrong direction let us know.
Good Luck with you studies and enjoy what pod arena has to offer.

    Cheers

    Hey twirly,

I was mainly looking into rural aid in australia and surrounding countries/areas. think it wouldbe great when i am qualified to be able to help ppl who dont always have the services of a podiatrist available. I thought i heard mention of some occuring on Tonga and different places.
any further info would be great if anyone knows of anything...

    Tchau
