I need help! I have been getting denials for payment of medicare x-ray and ultrasounds for not being on some PECOS? doctors list ? I can't find the information for this and am frustrated because they just don't help steer us in the direction for finding the correct information. Does anyone else have this happening now. I've been in practice since 1985 and never ever have had an issue with reimbursement of x-ray and now ultrasound until now and they say it has to do wit the new HICFA forms we are using.
