Hi and Happy New Year to all at the Podiatry Arena

I'm a West Yorkshire based, degree trained podiatrist. After having qualified at Huddersfield University in 1999 I spent my first 7 years after graduation working within the NHS. 3 years ago I made the transition into private practice. I now work 2 days for a Leeds based practice whilst building my own up in my home town of Huddersfield.

I'm a light hearted individual with many and varied interests such as learning to speak French, country walking, reading, sewing and doing crafts.

Hope to become an active member of the arena and get to know some of you over the coming months.

    Until then

    Sharon

    Thanks

    Hi Mandy
Many thanks for the welcome. It's possible we bumped into each other at some point if you graduated only a year before me. It's amazing how the time flies isn't it. I used to remember cringing when a client asked me how long I'd been qualified and I could only say 6 months or a year, and now it's going on for 10 years.
The business is still in it's infancy but doing well thanks. Naturally it's hard work but I'm really enjoying building the practice.
Take care and hope to speak soon
    Sharon
