Hey there I am not in the profession but am interested in barefoot running! Have started running on indoor treadmill only at mo. Have started in vibram shoes which I have been using for several months just for general wear and walking and absolutely love but will these be beneficial or harmful to run in? Feels good on treadmill but I do suffer from sciatica and so far haven't runfar or fast!

Hi Tracy, you may wish to check out the (very long!) barefoot running debate in the biomechanics forum.

I have looked at some but all seems very opinionated and hard to make decision on! At mo feel that will cont in vibrams whilst lo level treadmill work but will get running shoes for outdoor work... Maybe...
