How long are we meant to keep patient record cards for ?,
when I trained years ago advised 8 years, a FHP recently
told me when they trained advised 6 years. When I phoned
the SMAE Institute was advised 12 years, one only needs
to keep tax records for 6 years, so who is correct ??.

I was told it was eight years.

Is there any advance on that? - or shall we all agree on eight and then we can all start clearing all the paper out of our lofts, garages, outbuildings etc. ? :D
