'Anklebot' helps determine ankle stiffness

    I see a potential problem with movement between foot, shoe and straps (not to mention diurnal variation).
    Plotting XYZ coordinates with surface electrodes is all well and good, but the perennial problem in obtaining accurate in-vivo joint measurements is cutting out interface movement between measuring jig and joint.

    Otherwise, is it just me or have the researchers re-discovered the blindingly obvious?

    Clever bit of kit though........ :)
