Glucosamine and diabetes control?

    Does glucosamine affect BSL's? Some research I have done (contacting manufactures of glucosamine), suggests it may reduce uptake of glucose at a cellular level. Nothing in MIMS. Patient this morning believed she could not take it because it upset her BSL's.
