Indentations / divots on the soles

    Hello everyone,

    I am looking for the opinion of professionals regarding whether it's serious enough to get an appointment or just live with it.

    My mother has these small (less than 1 mm wide, at most 3 mm long) divots developing on her soles. The first appeared over a year ago just below the balls of her left foot, directly in the middle, since then 5 more developed in the same general area (within 3 cm distance), 3 in the last month and one of them on the other foot.
