Patients have asked me before regarding the best boots to wear from a personal protection point of view.

I can only tell them being a biker myself that i wear TCX Motorcycle Boots Competizione S Gore-Tex Waterproof.

The reasons I purchased these were:
    • Voted best race boots by 12,000 MCN readers
    • Unique 4-way Torsion Control System for improved ankle protection
    • Wider, anatomic foot bed for improved comfort
    • Gore-Tex lining for life-long waterproof performance
    • Highly breathable
    • Vented shin protection
    • Toe and rear removable sliders

and theyre not too expensive at £250.

Thoughts on this very much appreciated guys. The only advice professionally i can think to give would be regarding fit and ventilation.:dizzy::dizzy:

    From http://www.thebikerstore.co.uk/products/TCX-Competizione-S-Gore%2dTex.html Torsion Control System®

The Torsion Control System® has undergone modifications and been perfected, increasing its functionality and safety performance of the TCX Competizione S Gore-Tex. The system has been noticeably updated and is now made up of 4 combined elements. The main structure has a double heel and a frame that allow lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle, preventing torsion beyond natural limits and therefore protecting the joints from possible injuries.

The main structure of the TCX Competizione S Gore-Tex is connected to an X-shaped central body sewn to the upper, that connects the upper part to the lower part of the boot and guarantees excellent hold for the leg. The steel slider has been designed to protect the heel and favor the natural sliding motion in the case of a fall.

Sorry Jon i don't understand. Are you asking for an opinion on protective footwear or trying to sell / promote the ones you have?? :D

    hi George,

lol no just asking advice i can only comment anecdotally about what ive used and why i use them. So looking for any advice, there seems to be no literature about atm on this- maybe im just not rigorous in my search.

Congrats on the work abroad, shame you guys dont get more support from companies.

Are you and Anthony in Uni this week?
