I'm Brobert and I found your forum whilst looking for views and opinions of members of the podiatry profession.
I am an orthopaedic shoemaker with over 32 years of experience making footwear for clients with fitting and walking difficulties.
I currently teach on the BSc bespoke and orthopaedic footwear design and manufacture course at De Montfort University in Leicester, England.
I am interested in developing education in orthopaedic footwear manufacture so that young people coming into the profession can have the benefit of 300 years of knowledge plus modern understanding, methods and materials and having the opportunity of working as part of a team alongside podiatrists.

Fantastic to have you aboard.

I am sure you will find many on the site will show an interest in your product & expertise.

I believe there are other bespoke footwear providers who are also members of Podiatry Arena although you are the first UK based one I have noticed.

Deepest apologies if I inadvertantly missed any others.

A good point to note is that the introductions forum does not show up as new postings on the right hand side of the screen like other threads do.

May be worthwhile posing a question in the 'General Issues and Discussion Forum' .
