An artist friend of mine recently sent me this "skeletal" drawing of the statue "Lo Spinario" which we saw in our visit to Rome a few years ago.

I thought this illustration might be an image that some of you may want to include in your lectures. I don't know the artist of this illustration.

    Very Nice.
I have a small (18") bronze replica that sits on my desk.
There use to be a life sized replica in the student entrance at ICPM in Chicago.
I wonder what ever happened to it.

    REG,
Those old lithographs and prints are very interesting.

I wonder if anyone ever got to see Gunther von Hagen's travelling "show" and what they thought of it?

I saw his TV series of programmes "Anatomy for beginners" and found them fascinating

    regards

    Catfoot

With regard to Gunther, I was fortunate enough to be "the advisor" when his show came to Sydney" and co-wrote the script for the "talking phone" that one holds to one's ear as you one walks around the room (so to speak). The anatomy was lovely; my only comment is to note the all the cadavers were Chinese. Rob
