Hi I work in a very rural area and have a patient wanting the treatment. I cannot justify the cost of doing a course miles away which will mean 2 nights away from home and all the expense that entails. Therefore I am on here to ask if there is any practitioner practicing this treatment in the Lincs/york/Notts/Derbyshire area Please who would be willing to see this patient of mine I have tried traditional treatments on this one Vp on her left calc and we have made very little inroads. She is taking high dose zinc tablets to assist with the treatment. Grateful for any information re the verrucae needling treatment. Sarah

    Sarah,

Do you feel you need a course? Dr. K. Kirby has a You Tube video describing the process. The 'hardest' part is the anesthesia, but that's not so hard.

    Hi Sarah,

As Dieter said, you don`t need to do the verrucae needling course to do the treatment, if you are competent in LA techniques. The open access paper that Ivan and I published a few years ago details the procedure, along with Kevins` and a few others videos on Youtube.

However, if you feel you need a refresher in HPV aetiology, neuro-anatomy & LA techniques, then Ian Reilly and I are running our one day course on 6th May 2017 at Dundee.

Message or email me for a booking form.

    Cheers,
    Bel
